Lucifer's Rebellion Against God's System of Government Was the Origin
of Pantheism. -- He, a Created Being, Wanted to be Worshipped as God.
Adam and Eve had sinned, the gospel plan for the salvation of mankind was accepted by Adam, Eve and Abel; but Cain rejected the need for a blood sacrifice.
The System of worship which Cain adopted was inspired by Satan, as are all counterfeit systems of religion. He acted as though he knew a better way to gain salvation from sin than that which was outlined to Adam and Eve by their Creator. As a result of his rebellious attitude he became the world's first murderer. There are only two sides in the great controversy between Christ and Satan; --between good and evil. If we decide to not accept God's terms, we automatically place ourselves on the side of Satan, who was determined to carry on his rebellion on this planet after being cast out of Heaven.
All adherents to false systems of worship, without exception, worship created beings (even themselves), or things in nature, or things they have formed out of materials in nature, such as rocks and trees etc.. Things in the heavens such as the Sun, Moon and Stars were commonly accepted as being their deity or gods. This has continued right down to the present time, but frequently the leaders of these false religions confuse people by using terms and names that are very deceitful, making it appear that they are teaching the true gospel while they are promoting Satan's falsehoods. One widely accepted example may be seen in that they refer to the First day of the week as “The Holy Sabbath Day” when God said to remember the “Seventh Day” to keep it holy.-(the fourth Commandment). The question is Who are we going to believe? When the R.C.Church, Apostate Protestant Churches, and now apostate SDA Churches adopt the heathen tradition of the Trinity and state that it represents the God head of the Bible, do we believe them and accept their lies, or will we obey God's commands? While researching material on this subject, it was noticeable that there are many conflicting views regarding the “God head” and the “Trinity” among the various churches all claiming to be Christians. If they left out the name Trinity and accepted just what the Bible has to say about the God head they would be on a far safer platform. False or counterfeit religions are identified by their doctrines and practices which are out of harmony with God's Ten Commandments recorded in Exodus chapter 20. The definition of sin given in the Bible is:- I John 3:4 "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
God's perfect system of government could not be maintained by allowing sin or rebellion to continue, as this would lead to disharmony, fear and unhappiness for all of God's creatures in the whole universe. Being a loving God, He had no option but to deal with rebellion. Sin and sinners cannot exist in the presence of the Mighty God.
Ezekiel 18:4 "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."
The system of worship which Cain and his offspring adopted was a bloodless sacrifice which did not accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ in giving His life to bear the penalty for the repentant sinner. This rebellion eventually led to the worship of the Sun, Moon and Stars and the worship of mankind and many other things in nature. God's true people were forbidden to intermarry with those who followed these heathen customs of worship and they were distinctly commanded not to get involved in any way by following their idolatrous practices.
Exodus 23:13 "And in all [things] that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the NAME of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth."
Exodus 23:24 "Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works:
Exodus 23:25 "And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."
Joshua 23:7 "That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear [by them], neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them: "
Trinity
The name “trinity” which can be traced back to the false systems of worship in many nations of the earth. Nowhere else can it's origin be found. The term is not found in the KJV Bible, or the writings of the lord's messenger E.G.White. This should make those who claim to be God's chosen people; who also claim that all of their doctrines are Bible based, begin to wonder how the name TRINITY has found its way into their system of worship. The books “The Two Babylons” by Alexander Hislop; and “Babylon Mystery Religion” by Ralph Woodrow; and other sources demonstrate that the term Trinity is a Name given to Heathen deities. This was long before Rome had claimed to invent the Trinity doctrine. Re-read God's instruction to His people in the texts of Scripture quoted above. Would it not be more appropriate to use the names of our God that He has supplied? Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
Matthew 1:21 "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins."
Sunday keeping churches of today claim the name Trinity represents their deity. They also are worshiping the day of the Sun-god. Rome claims that the Mystery of the Trinity is the central doctrine of the Catholic faith. Upon it are based all the other teachings of the Church. Why do SDAs follow their customs against God's directions by using the name of heathen deities to represent God? See point #2 in Summary of Doctrinal Beliefs on reverse side of Baptismal Certificate. These Beliefs are also documented on the official SDA Web Site. Under the subheading "Trinity" it is stated as follows:- "There is one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons." In this statement, the State Registered and Copyright SDA Church, has identified the Godhead that they worship by the heathen deity name of "Trinity". Trinity is the Satanic Babylonian counterfeit of the True God of the Bible. All false religion is idolatry and Pantheism - the Alpha and the Omega of apostasy. God has stated that we are not to be involved with it in any way. We should never equate or refer to the True Godhead as being the Trinity. Read the texts quoted from the old Testament again.
There is a misconception among some who claim to be anti-trinitarian, that those who believe Christ's words recorded in Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" are somehow teaching the doctrine of the Trinity! Nothing could be further from the truth. It would be well for these people to research the writings of E.G.White on the subject of the Godhead for advice re trying to define the form of the Holy Ghost. She states that we should make it our business to understand and preach the office work of the Holy Spirit, and how it works in our lives to overcome sin.
While on the subject of the Baptismal Certificate, it would also be well to analyse carefully clauses number 10, 11, and 13; of the Baptismal Vow in reference to the words:- "and from the misuse of, or trafficking in, narcotics or other drugs." As most SDA Hospitals and doctors prescribe drugs, how is it that an officiating minister has the audacity to request any person to sign a document, being represented as a solemn "Vow", which is witnessed by the officiating minister and the church clerk that contains such contradictions as the "Trinity" and "Drugs" issues. Any person, whether they be a minister of religion, or law enforcement officer of the State, who requests any individual to sign such a document, is obliged to make sure that the person signing, fully understands that when they sign that document, they are taking responsibility for everything written on both sides of that document. In other words, all the words on the document, in effect, become their own, just as if they had written them. Another very serious matter should be addressed at this juncture; and that is the matter of corporate responsibility. A member of the Corporate State Registered Copyright SDA Church, becomes morally and in some instances may become legally responsible for the actions of that organisation by placing their signature on the Baptismal vow document. One example of this was when the SDA General Conference took the small SDA Church which was pastored by Pr. Raphael Perez to the court of the land in USA in an effort to prevent them from using the Copyright Name "Seventh Day Adventist Church". The court case revealed that this small church continued to distribute the book Great Controversy (by E.G.White) after being Ordered by the SDA Conference, to cease promoting that book. These court proceedings cost the General Conference millions of dollars, which, if you are a member, and/or pay tithe and offerings into that organisation, you are supporting the actions taken, because the General Conference, when questioned where the money came from, admitted that it came from tithes and offerings. God's Word tells us not to take our brother to courts of the land. 1Corinthians 6:1-10. Also see 3SM 299-305. (especially pages 302-3) "Those church members who appeal to the courts of the world show that they have chosen the world as their judge, and their names are registered in heaven as one with unbelievers."
After the above mentioned court case was completed, the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventists official web site issued a warning to any persons who in the future, ventured to use their trademark name without their approval, would also be severely treated. This was displayed for the whole world to see!!
