In January 1868 a newspaper press started rolling for the first time in Warwick, on Wednesday the 4th of January 1868 the town folk of Warwick woke early with great anticipation, they now had there own local Paper The Warwick Examiner and Times hit the streets and shops for the first time, known today as the Warwick Daily News, of which, and to it's credits stills carries on the original headings.
